DPC Developments, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Big Brain mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
Account Information: When you create an account, we may collect your name and email address through our authentication provider.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics such as feature usage frequency and app performance data to improve the App.
AI Conversations: When you use the AI Tutor feature, your questions are sent to our AI service provider (OpenAI) for processing. We do not store, read, or log the content of your AI conversations on our servers. Your conversations are processed in real-time and are not retained by us.
Locally Stored Data: Study notes, flashcards, quiz results, and preferences are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly use a sync feature.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. API keys and sensitive credentials are stored securely and never exposed in the App's code.
The App is designed for students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Locally stored data (notes, flashcards, quizzes) remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. AI conversation data is not retained by us.

Big Brain Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's account settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date.
